Private Client Lawyer
Location: Fakenham, Holt, Sheringham, King’s Lynn, or Swaffham (Hybrid working available)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

We specialise in multiple areas of law including Commercial and Residential Conveyancing, Family Law, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Administration of Estates, Wills and Trusts, Inheritance Tax advice and Estate Planning, Elderly Client Services, Employment Law, Business and Company Law, Dispute Resolution, and Agricultural Law.
We are currently looking for a talented and experienced Private Client Lawyer to join our dynamic team and provide comprehensive legal services to individuals across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice on a broad range of private client matters, including Wills, Administration of Estates, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Deputyships, Estate Planning, Elderly Client Affairs and Trusts.
- Manage and develop a caseload with minimal supervision, ensuring a high level of client care and legal expertise.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering bespoke and empathetic advice tailored to individual needs.
- Support and mentor junior team members as needed, contributing to a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Stay informed of changes in relevant laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and providing up-to-date advice to clients
- Participate in business development activities to promote the firm and expand the private client department, including attending networking events, developing referral relationships, and providing content for legal articles.
Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 3+ years of post-qualification experience in Private Client law.
- In-depth knowledge relating to Wills, Probate, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Management of Elderly Client Affairs, Trusts and Tax and Estate Planning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and work to deadlines, both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- A proactive, adaptable, and compassionate approach to client care.
- Willingness to work flexibly, with a hybrid arrangement of remote and office-based work as required.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, as travel between offices and to client meetings may be required.
