Adam joined Hayes + Storr in January 2005 as the Finance Manager to head the accounts team.
Adam was born in Norfolk and educated locally. He attended the University of Reading where he took a honours degree in Psychology. On returning home Adam joined a local firm of chartered accountants and qualified with them in 2000.
Adam served in the Special Constabulary for 10 years becoming a Special Sergeant and received his long service medal from Prince Charles.
Adam takes part in country pursuits, sailing (at Burnham Overy Staithe where he is also a Common Right Holder) and walking. Adam is currently Chairman of North Creake Parish Council and is a Trustee of North Creake Village Hall.
Alex Joined Hayes and Storr in 2011 as Compliance Manager (Compliance Officer for Legal Practice (COLP)) , having previously worked for the Law Society and the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
Alex was born in Norfolk and studied law at the University of East Anglia and the College of Law in Guildford. He qualified as a solicitor in 1999 and specialised in personal injury work for many years, at firms in Slough and Norwich, before joining the Law Society.
Alex lives in Norwich with his wife and two daughters and enjoys many outdoor pursuits, including field archery.
Amanda joined Hayes + Storr in August 2005 and is an Solicitor in the Litigation Department at our Fakenham office.
Amanda acts on behalf of individuals and businesses in relation to contractual disputes, landlord and tenant issues, debt recovery, debt and bankruptcy advice. She also helps individuals with every day problems arising from consumer issues, disputes with utility companies, or other individuals covering various aspects of the law.
Amanda gained a Law Degree through part time study which she completed in 2009 and completed her LPC in 2011. Amanda qualified as a Solicitor in 2015.
Outside of Hayes + Storr, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family, is a keen reader and enjoys cooking and music.
Andrea joined Hayes + Storr as a partner in January 2007.
Andrea is Head of the Business department. She deals with Company, Commercial, Construction, Commercial Property, Intellectual Property Rights and Non Contentious Employment matters.
Andrea has previously worked in industry for Costain, Balfour Beatty and London Regional Transport (now Transport for London) and served her time as a City lawyer with Masons (now Pinsent Masons) and Nicholson Graham & Jones (now K & L Gates).
Andrea is a School Governor at Litcham High School and is a past President of West Norfolk Chamber of Commerce. She has two teenage children and a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, all three of which take up much of her personal time outside of the office.
Anissa joined Hayes + Storr in 2011, having worked in the Norfolk area for 7 years, as a Solicitor and Director and is Head of the Litigation Dispute Resolution Department and the Employment Department. Anissa deals with all types of dispute resolution matters and acts for both Employers and Employees in all aspects of Employment Law.
Anissa has successfully represented a number of individuals and companies in court disputes and successfully negotiated very good settlements on their behalf. Anissa has also won a number of Employment Tribunal Hearings where she completes the representation of clients herself in the Employment Tribunal and Anissa completes her own advocacy in both the Employment Tribunal and the county court.
She has won a number of high profile claims for a number of Clients in the court and Employment Tribunal, including most recently a claim against a Local Council for disability discrimination. Anissa has acted for a number of employers and successfully defended a number of Employment tribunal claims against them.
Anissa has been the Training Officer for the local Law Society for the last 5 years and also completes a large amount of work with local charities and pro bono legal advice for charities.
On a personal level, Anissa is married and enjoys walking and cycling. She is a member of a number of local groups and enjoys entertaining and reading.

Anna joined the Sheringham office of Hayes + Storr in May 2011 and is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Legal Executives, specialising in Wills and Probate, Powers of Attorney, Elderly Client and Private Client Services.
Anna studied at the University of East Anglia gaining a BA (Hons) in History in 2003 and an MA in Early Modern History in 2004. She then moved down to Devon and undertook her ILEX examinations whilst working for a firm of Solicitors in Torquay. Anna became a Graduate Member of ILEX in August 2010 and won the ILEX Student of the Year Award 2010 for achieving the highest average score in her exams.
Away from the office, Anna enjoys equine sports and has retained an interest in history. She is particularly pleased to be back in Nelson’s County.

Ben graduated from Birmingham City University with a 1st Class BA Honours degree in English.
Ben then attended The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and commissioned into The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, an Armoured Infantry Regiment that operates using the Infantry Fighting Vehicle known as the Warrior.
On leaving the British Army he decided to pursue a career in law. He studied for his Graduate Diploma in Law at BPP University and later received a Commendation in the Legal Practice Course from Anglia Ruskin University. On completion of his training at Hayes + Storr Solicitors, he will qualify as a Solicitor in 2019.
Ben plays cricket and rugby. He enjoys keeping fit, running and all things outdoors. Ben is also still proud to be able to retain his connection with the Army as an officer in the Army Reserves.
He will be running in the London Marathon next year for Alzheimer’s Research UK where he is aiming to raise £6,000.
Charlotte joined Hayes + Storr in 2014 as Chartered Legal Executive and is based in our new Hunstanton office.
Charlotte has worked in a solicitors office since the age of 16. She began her career in Swaffham as a legal secretary and then moved to a firm in King's Lynn as a secretary to one of the partners with aspirations of becoming a legal executive in which she succeeded.
Charlotte qualified as a lawyer in 2007 and deals with all aspects of residential conveyancing.
Charlotte has always lived in the area and her local knowledge and long career in the law will be a great advantage in our new Hunstanton office.
Out of work Charlotte enjoys walking her dog, swimming, cycling, boxercise and escaping to a campsite with her husband and dog.

Chris joined Hayes + Storr in March 2003. He is responsible for IT throughout all of the Hayes + Storr offices.
Chris was born in Norfolk, is married and has two young children. Chris is an avid football supporter and a keen allotment gardner.
Damian Fisher is a member of the Private Client team at our Kings Lynn office. He graduated from the University of Liverpool with an honours degree in History and Politics, then completed the Graduate Diploma in Legal Studies at the University of East Anglia. He trained with an established local firm, qualified as a solicitor in 2011 and worked for them until joining Hayes + Storr Solicitors in 2016.

Emily was born in Lincolnshire. Emily studied Law (LLB Hons) at the University of Nottingham and was awarded an upper second class degree in 2013. Whilst studying, her family relocated to Norfolk and Emily followed after completing her degree.
After joining Hayes + Storr in August 2013, Emily studied her Legal Practice Course on a part-time basis at BPP University in London traveling to London each week whilst working as an assistant in the Conveyancing department and receptionist. She began her Training Contract with Hayes + Storr in April 2016 and is due to qualify in July 2018.
Emily represents Hayes + Storr at the King’s Lynn & West Norfolk Law Society meetings.
Fiona joined Hayes + Storr in 2002 and became a partner in 2011. She specialises in Wills, Probate and Powers of Attorney. Prior to joining the Wills & Probate department, Fiona worked for several years in Family law and Employment law, and still deals with non-contentious employment matters.
Fiona was brought up in the North East and moved to Norfolk with her family in 2001. She studied Social Anthropology at Cambridge University and then worked in the Diplomatic Service prior to her career change to the law. She completed her training contract with Cole & Cole of Oxford and worked for Hertfordshire County Council in the Department of Law & Administration prior to joining Hayes + Storr.
Outside of work Fiona’s interests include reading, music and walking.

Jane joined Hayes + Storr in 1986 and gained her ILEX qualifications. She specialises in Wills, Probate, Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection Deputyships and Elderly Client. Jane qualified as a member of STEP in 1996 and later as a member of Solicitors for the Elderly.
Jane was born in Buckinghamshire and brought up and educated in North London/Hertfordshire. She came to Norfolk in 1974 after marrying a Norfolk man.
Jane has two rescue dogs, enjoys cooking and vegetable gardening. On Jane’s ‘wish list’ of things to do, she has achieved riding over the Massi Mara in a hot air balloon, has ridden a camel up a mountain, been on safari, been swimming with dolphins and ridden elephants.

Jane-Louise joined Hayes + Storr in March 2011 as a lawyer in their Property Department and is based in their Holt office. Her expertise covers all aspects of Residential Property Law and Commercial Property but she has a particular specialism in new build properties and developments.
Jane-Louise has worked in property law for in excess of 20 years and was admitted as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in 2002, having worked as a Property Lawyer for several years prior to this.
Save for a few years “up North” in Sheffield, Jane-Louise has lived in Norfolk and loves the countryside and being near the Coast with her husband and daughter. She is a member of a local book group and enjoys reading and when times allow it, working on her allotment.
Jim joined Hayes + Storr in 2000 and became a partner in 2007. He is now the director responsible for the Holt office and is Head of the Property department.
Jim specialises in property law including agricultural, commercial and residential conveyancing.
Having gone to school in Paris, London and North Devon, Jim went on to study philosophy at Kings College London. He has a particular interest in ethical and political philosophy. He did a post graduate diploma in law at Kingston University before going on to the College of Law.
After leaving Law school Jim worked for the Hoxton Trust Legal Advice Service providing housing, benefits and immigration advice. He then went on to work as a political researcher for a local Norfolk MP. Jim got back into law working for a West End music and media law firm before joining Hayes + Storr.
Jim is a keen sportsman and plays hockey for Norwich City Hockey Club, cricket for the Nocturns and tennis at the Cromer Tennis Club. He sails on the Broads and is a member of the Norfolk Punt Owners’ Club. He also enjoys skiing and is a member of the Norfolk Ski Club.
Jim, who is married with four children, spent much of his childhood in Norfolk and now lives just outside of Holt.
John joined Hayes + Storr in May 2008 as a solicitor in the firm. He is based at our Wells-next-the-Sea Office and specialises in Wills, Probate, Powers of Attorney, Trust Administration and Private Client Services.
John moved back home to the UK in 2006, having spent almost all of his life in Zimbabwe, where he qualified as a legal practitioner in 1975. Having completed his conversion exams, John was admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales in November 2007.
John and his wife are enjoying living in Norfolk and he lists his interests as first and foremost his grandchildren, followed by golf, watching most sports, travel and the flora of the UK.

Kerry Harbord (formerly Kerry Latimer) joined our busy conveyancing team in 2014 and is based at our Fakenham office. Kerry previously worked for ten years with a local firm.
Kerry has worked determinedly to progress her career beginning her employment as a junior secretary to having qualified as an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives in September 2010, she continues to study hard outside of her full time employment, with a view to practising as a Fellow of CILEX in the near future.
Outside of work Kerry enjoys singing in her Church choir and travelling as much as she can. She also has a keen interest in Formula 1. Kerry was born in Norwich and lives with her husband and step-son in Aylsham.

Kiri Nichols joined Hayes + Storr in May 2013 and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives. Kiri has been working in Norfolk for the last three years and prior to that she worked in Hertfordshire and London.
Kiri specialises in Private Client work with particular emphasis on Inheritance Tax and Estate Planning, Trust Administrations, Estate Administrations and Wills. She is currently working towards her Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners qualification.
Kiri is married and has a young son. She enjoys spending time with her family exploring the North Norfolk coast.

Laura joined Hayes + Storr in July 1999 and has worked hard to become a qualified Lawyer. Laura qualified as a F.Inst.LEx in 2009 and is based at our Wells office. She specialises in Wills, Probate, Powers of Attorney, Elderly Client and Private Client Services.
Laura is a local girl having lived in Wells for 21 years, she is married and has recently become a mum. She enjoys her family, socialising with friends and walking her black Labrador.
Mel joined Hayes + Storr in October 2010 as a Chartered Legal Executive in the Property Department based at our King’s Lynn Office. She specialises in all aspects of residential conveyancing.
Mel has worked in conveyancing for the last 15 years and qualified as a lawyer in 2005. Being local, she has a good knowledge of the area.
Married with two children, Mel is a keen football supporter and enjoys walking, reading and cooking.
Miranda joined Hayes + Storr in 2008 as a partner of the firm. Miranda specialises in Private Client work encompassing Wills, Trusts, Capital Taxation Planning and Advice, Wealth Management together with the handling of higher value and more complex Probate and personal affairs management. Miranda heads up Hayes + Storr’s Wells-next-the-Sea office.
She has also been appointed as a Notary Public and in that capacity is authorised to enable foreign arrangements for clients, both individuals and companies. She is increasingly developing her interest in dealing with clients with overseas assets and connections.
She is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, Charity Law Association, Solicitors for the Elderly and the Notaries’ Society.
Miranda prides herself on providing a highly personal and professional service with client care as her primary focus.
Having lived in North Norfolk since she was a young child Miranda was educated at Gresham’s School, Holt, she read Law at Oxford University (Lady Margaret Hall). Having served her Articles with Eversheds (then Daynes Hill & Perks), Miranda qualified as a solicitor in 1991 and became a partner with Ward Gethin in 1995.
Although her young family are her top priority away from the office, Miranda also tries to find time to enjoy the Norfolk coast and countryside, gardening, reading, music and painting.
Nic originally joined Hayes + Storr in November 2000 and specialises in Land Law and Conveyancing.

Rachel joined Hayes + Storr in April 2012, having relocated from Essex. Rachel assists the Directors with larger probate matters as well as responsibility for smaller Estate Administrations, Lasting Power of Attorney, Wills and Elderly Client Affairs.
Rachel brings a warm and personal way of working with clients - ensuring their wishes are known and fulfilled, whilst guiding them when necessary.
During her spare time, Rachel can be found walking her dogs and competing her horse (with varying degrees of success!)
Richard joined Hayes + Storr 2003 and became a partner the following year. He is now a director and Chairman of Hayes + Storr Limited
Richard specialises in Town and Country Planning (contentious and negotiated), Commercial Property (investment, development, secured lending and lease work), and the sale and purchase of small businesses.
Richard is qualified as a Solicitor and as a Legal Associate of the RTPI and has lived for many years in Sheringham, since his early professional days in the City of London. He has served as a Governor at Sheringham Academy and as a Town Councillor and remains a keen member of the Sheringham Chamber of Trade.
Richard’s passion is Sheringham and North Norfolk, which he enjoys with his family and Boxer dogs.
Robert joined Hayes + Storr in February 2013 as a Solicitor having trained at a local firm and qualifying in 2007. He completed his Law Degree at Nottingham Trent University, LLB (Hons), and his Legal Practice Course with the DeMontfort University Leicester.
Robert has extensive knowledge of Family Law and also assists our Private Client Department specialising in Court of Protection matters.
Robert has his roots in West Norfolk having lived here since he was five years old. Outside of work he is an active member of Roundtable and his hobbies include gym, films and travel.
Robert joined Hayes + Storr in August 2009 as a Solicitor, in April 2013 Robert became a Partner. Robert specialises in Wills, Probate, Powers of Attorney, Trust Administration and Tax.
Robert was born in Alnwick Northumberland. He achieved a BA Hons Degree in History at Leeds University followed by a Post Graduate Diploma in Law (CPE) and Legal Practice Course (LPC) at Northumbria University. Robert completed his training contract with Adam Douglas & Son Solicitors, Northumberland.
Outside of work Robert enjoys travelling, rugby and cricket.
Ruth Easter (previously Ruth Collings) joined the firm in April 2017 as an associate solicitor and mainly works in our Sheringham office. She previously worked at a well regarded Norfolk based law firm for over ten years. Ruth studied for her law degrees at Exeter University before going to York to complete the Legal Practice Course.
Ruth specialises in Private Client work and particularly enjoys trusts and tax and estate planning.
Ruth’s interests centre around music. She is a member of various choirs in Norfolk and further afield and can often be heard doing solo performances. Ruth also enjoys watching stand up comedy and canoeing on the Norfolk Broads.
Ruth is an associate member of both STEP and Solicitors for the Elderly.
Susan joined Hayes + Storr in 2011 and in April 2013 became a Director.
Susan qualified as a solicitor in 2005 at US firm Jones Day and specialises in commercial and commercial property matters with a focus on agricultural law.
Susan returned to Norfolk to live and bring up her children on the family farm and worked in commercial property at a local law firm for four years before joining Hayes and Storr.
Born and raised in rural Norfolk, Susanna studied Law at the University of East Anglia and was awarded an upper second class honours degree in 2010.
Susanna then moved to London to begin her Legal Practice Course with the College of Law on a part time basis. Whilst studying, Susanna was also a self employed solicitor’s clerk primarily attending family matters in the Principal Registry of the Family Division in Central London.
Having experienced ‘the big smoke’, Susanna found that she missed Norfolk and returned in early 2011 when she joined Hayes + Storr Solicitor as a receptionist/typist/paralegal in the King’s Lynn office. Susanna became a full time paralegal in September 2011 and after completing her Training Contract, qualified as a Solicitor in 2015 and is a member of our busy Litigation team.
In her spare time, Susanna enjoys trips to theatre whenever possible and spending time with her family.
Tina joined Hayes & Storr in January 2012, having worked as an employment solicitor in Norwich for 6 years.
Tina advises a variety of clients, both organisations and individuals, on non-contentious and contentious employment issues. She is experienced in dealing with queries relating to all aspects of the ongoing employment relationship including performance management, long-term absences, disciplinary matters and employee grievances. Tina deals with all types of employment tribunal claims, has advised clients using mediation, and is also experienced in drafting employment documentation, including directors’ service agreements, staff handbooks and compromise agreements.
Tina has also delivered in-house training for clients on a wide range of employment law issues and presents at employment law seminars.
