Robert Howliston

Robert is a Director and heads up the Private Client department at Hayes + Storr. He specialises in all aspects of private client work, including Wills, Probate, Powers of Attorney, Trust Administration, and Tax planning.

Originally from Alnwick, Northumberland, Robert studied History at the University of Leeds, graduating with a BA (Hons) before going on to complete both the Postgraduate Diploma in Law (CPE) and the Legal Practice Course (LPC) at Northumbria University. He undertook his training contract with Adam Douglas & Son Solicitors in Northumberland.

Known for his professional, diligent approach and calm leadership, Robert is a trusted adviser to clients navigating complex personal and financial matters.

Outside of work, he enjoys travelling and is a keen follower of both rugby and cricket.
