Kieran Athow

Director

Kieran Athow

Kieran is a Director in our Private Client team and advises clients on a wide range of private client matters, including wills, probate, Lasting Powers of Attorney, trusts and tax planning. He has built strong relationships with clients across Norfolk and is known for providing clear, practical advice tailored to each individual’s circumstances.

Kieran joined Hayes + Storr in 2017 as a Paralegal while studying at the University of Leicester, where he graduated with an LLB (Hons) Law degree. He went on to complete his Legal Practice Course (LPC) at Anglia Ruskin University, achieving a distinction, before qualifying as a Solicitor with the firm in December 2020. Since qualifying, Kieran has continued to develop his expertise and progressed through the firm, becoming an Associate, Senior Associate and, in 2026, a Director.

Born and raised in Norfolk, Kieran has a strong connection to the local community. He was brought up in a family involved in different areas of the legal profession, which sparked his early interest in law.

Outside of work, Kieran enjoys playing rugby, keeping fit at the gym and making the most of Norfolk’s coastline. He lives in Norwich with his partner and their two daughters.

CLIENT COMMENTS:

Mrs K

“I would like to thank Kieran and his team for being so helpful and patient with me over several months as we waded into international law. It has proved to be complicated and at times frustrating, but at no time has he given up. I have every confidence in him. He is a true professional. Thankyou so much.”

Mr S

“We have been very appreciative of your kindness and sensitivity as you guided us through what, at times, has been an emotional journey for us both. Not having acted as executors before your knowledge and expertise was invaluable. We particularly  valued the clarity of your communications with us and how you took us step by step through the process of carrying out our mother’s wishes.

“Our sincere thanks to you Kieran, for all the professionalism and care with which you assisted us over the last few months since our mother’s death. We could not have wished for better guidance and support.”

Mrs O

“In the preparation of our joint wills Kieran Athow was thoroughly professional in guiding us through all the pros and cons commensurate with our wishes.
We would recommend and use Hayes + Storr for any future legal requirements.”

Mrs T

“Once again we were very impressed by the efficient, friendly advice given by Kieran Athow at Hayes and Storr when preparing our wills. We would have no hesitation in recommending their services.”

Mrs P

“Very good, professional service from Kieran Athow from Hayes and Storr. Always kept us informed of any updates. Quickly sorted Probate. Thank you.”

Mrs S

“I felt I should just write to say how pleased I am with the work you have done obtaining Grant of Probate for my father’s estate. It progressed quickly and smoothly and I felt fully informed and involved at every stage. Your response to any questions either by telephone or e-mail was swift, efficient and explanatory. I was never made to feel my questions or requests were anything other than important. This has left me in a good place to wind my fathers estate up. At such a difficult time having someone to take some of the administrative burden was a godsend. Thank you very much for all your help.”
