Hayes + Storr marks first birthday in newly renovated Fakenham offices

We are thrilled to announce the completion of the renovation of our new Fakenham office, located at 31-33 Upper Market Place. The new premises have been transformed into a modern, state-of-the-art workspace that seamlessly blends our rich heritage with a forward-looking vision. Following an extensive renovation project, the new office is now ready to officially welcome clients and the community.

To mark this significant milestone, we hosted a celebration on the 15th May, welcoming clients, colleagues, and members of the local community to our newly renovated offices. The event was a fantastic opportunity to reflect on the firm’s journey over the past year and to showcase the thoughtfully redesigned space.

Anissa Hallworth, the firm’s newly appointed Managing Director, commented: “This renovation is about more than just walls and floors – it’s a step towards creating a modern workspace that reflects both our heritage and our future. We’re proud to unveil a space that not only respects the character of Fakenham but also embraces the evolving needs of our clients and team.”

The move from the firm’s previous premises at 18/19 Market Place – a site with a history of legal practice dating back to 1775 – marks the end of an era, but also the beginning of a dynamic new phase.

The redevelopment of the Aldiss building required significant investment and care to ensure the new space respects the historical fabric of the town. Adam Bunkle, Finance Director, added: “We have created a workspace which is both welcoming and in keeping with the charm of Fakenham. Our team is proud to work in a space that balances tradition with modernity.”

Chris Johnson, IT and Facilities Director at Hayes + Storr, who oversaw the renovation, commented: “Managing this renovation was a rewarding challenge. We worked hard to preserve the building’s character while implementing modern facilities that cater to the needs of both our staff and clients. The result is a workspace that combines efficiency with a sense of history and place.”

Hayes + Storr continues to operate from five offices across Norfolk, offering a full range of legal services and demonstrating a steadfast commitment to client care and employee development.
