Senior Residential Property Solicitor

We are seeking an experienced Senior Residential Property Solicitor to join our well-established team. The successful candidate will handle a high-quality caseload of residential conveyancing matters while providing leadership, expertise, and support to junior members of the department.

Location: Flexible either Fakenham, Holt, Sheringham, King’s Lynn, or Swaffham

Salary: Competitive, plus benefits

Hours: Full-time / Part Time Considered

Type: Hybrid available with requirement for 2 days in office

We specialise in multiple areas of law including Commercial and Residential Conveyancing, Family Law, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Administration of Estates, Wills and Trusts, Inheritance Tax advice and Estate Planning, Elderly Client Services, Employment Law, Business and Company Law, Dispute Resolution, and Agricultural Law. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a full and varied caseload of residential property matters, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, new builds, and shared ownership transactions.
  • Provide clear, practical legal advice to clients while maintaining exceptional client care standards.
  • Supervise and mentor junior fee-earners, paralegals, and support staff.
  • Contribute to the development of departmental processes and business development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and risk management procedures.
  • Maintain strong relationships with estate agents, lenders, developers, and other key stakeholders. 

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer with 5+ years’ PQE in residential property.
  • Strong technical knowledge of conveyancing procedures and current property law.
  • Proven ability to manage complex or high-value transactions with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-management skills.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and support team members.
  • A proactive, organised, and solution-focused approach.
