David Roper

David qualified as a solicitor in 2009 and specialises in children’s law. Originally from Kings Lynn, David has always practised throughout East Anglia regularly attending Courts in Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire.

David has been a member of the Law Society Children’s Panel since 2015 and can represent both parents and children in care and adoption proceedings. In addition, David has a wealth of experience in representing parties in private law proceedings regularly advising and representing parents and grandparents in respect of living and contact arrangements, parental responsibility, Special Guardianship, Prohibited Steps Orders and Specific Issue Orders.

David has a passion for Court advocacy and whenever possible will represent clients from the start through to the end of cases including factfinding hearings and contested final hearings.

Outside of work David enjoys spending time with his grandchildren and karate.
