Julia recently joined Hayes + Storr as a Senior Associate. She regularly advises clients on agricultural and commercial property matters. Upon qualifying as a solicitor in 2015, she briefly spent time at national and international law firms delivering time sensitive advice to high-net-worth individuals and large corporate entities, before settling in East Anglia and developing an agricultural property practice.

Julia also regularly undertakes other property work and advises clients on commercial property matters, including sales and purchases of commercial properties, refinancing and lease renewals. She has also undertaken development work from both the developer and landowner perspective.
In 2025, Julia successfully completed the course to become a Fellow of the Agricultural Law Association. This involved intensive in person tuition sessions and a rigorous exam, designed to enable delegates to provide holistic advice to clients on legal issues affecting rural businesses.
Outside of work Julia regularly spends her time exploring East Anglia and volunteers in marine conservation in the Norfolk Coast. She also enjoys a pub quiz.
Julia works out of both the Norwich and Swaffham office, however she is always happy to travel to meet clients to where is convenient for them.
