Philippa Howes
Agricultural Paralegal
Philippa was born and raised in Norfolk. She lived in Edinburgh for four years while studying geography and social anthropology at the University of Edinburgh, graduating in 2022. She then moved back to Norfolk to complete a master’s in environmental sciences at the University of East Anglia, graduating in 2023. She worked within the environmental field in sustainable agriculture and waste management as an environmental consultant throughout East Anglia, but later decided to retrain to become a solicitor.
Philippa joined Hayes and Storr in February 2026 and is currently completing a law conversion master’s alongside working as an Agricultural and Commercial Property Paralegal. She has been able to draw on her agricultural background and has learned a great deal since starting.
Outside of work, she enjoys a range of sports including hockey, running, cycling, and swimming, along with long walks along the coast with her dogs and family.
