Susanna Mayfield

Susanna Mayfield

Susanna joined Hayes + Storr in 2011 and qualified as a solicitor into our busy Litigation Department in April 2015. Since then, she has successfully represented many clients and was appointed an Associate with the firm in 2022.

Susanna acts in respect of a variety of disputes; however, her work is predominantly focused upon high value contentious probate matters, including challenges to the validity of Wills, actions in proprietary estoppel and claims (whether as claimant or defendant) under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975.

She also acts in respect of defamation actions, professional negligence, commercial disputes and claims arising under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996.

Susanna acts for both individuals and companies, taking a robust and pragmatic approach, and consistently negotiates very good settlements on their behalf. She is passionate about her clients and dedicated to seeking justice and achieving a positive outcome.

In her spare time, Susanna enjoys trips to the theatre and spending time with her much loved family.

Mr T

“Have just achieved a superb outcome, conducted with skill, talent and an in-depth knowledge, whilst navigating the perilous pitfalls surrounding property law which was carried out by the litigation department at Hayes + Storr, Fakenham under Susanna Mayfield. The final outcome was something one could not have dared to hope for at the first consultation.”

Mr B

“I cannot thank you enough for your patience your perseverance and determination. The support and direction given by yourself has been first class I couldn’t have got through it without you.”

Mrs G

“Susanna Mayfield of Hayes & Storr, Fakenham, has represented us on a number of occasions very successfully, the most protracted of which was a boundary issue. In 2016 we realised we needed to resolve the matter of the boundaries and over a period of approximately 5 years, we approached various lawyers. Unfortunately it was not a matter any of them could settle, possibly due to the complexity. Susanna however not only resolved the issue but approached the whole matter with an impressive display of intelligence, determination and energy. She was always available to give us much needed advice and prompt in replying to our emails. We would have no hesitation in recommending her.”

Mr F

“I have used Hayes & Storr twice in the last year and I cannot recommend Susanna Mayfield highly enough. In both legal cases she has shown a knowledge and understanding second to none and kept me totally informed at all junctures. Suffice to say we did not lose.”
