Daniel Sims

Daniel works with clients of all ages and backgrounds on Divorce and financial settlements, Pre- and Post-Nuptial Agreements, Cohabitation Agreements, Child Arrangement/Prohibited Steps/Specific Issue Orders, and Special Guardianship Orders.

He qualified as a Family Law Solicitor in 2018 and has been practising in the West Norfolk and East Cambridgeshire area for several years, joining Hayes and Storr in September 2025.

Daniel graduated from UEA Law School with First-Class Honours, completing placements in Norfolk and London with the in-house legal teams at the John Lewis Partnership and ArcelorMittal. He went on to earn a Distinction in the Legal Practice Course before commencing his professional training.

Known for his pragmatic and empathetic approach, Daniel focuses on finding proportionate and effective solutions for clients. He has been described as “professional, understanding and incredibly helpful … very good at reading the situation and the people involved,” and as “efficient, straightforward and highly effective.”

Barristers have praised his thorough preparation for court hearings, and Direct Access clients have sought his support when solicitor input was required.

Outside of work, Daniel enjoys reading whodunnits, exploring new places, and travelling abroad.
